# Boarding Pass NFT

Every Ship deployed mints and distributes ERC721 NFTs called the **Boarding Pass** that act as governance tokens for the Ship DAO members.

Sailors holding the Boarding Pass NFT of a Ship will be able to perform specific actions, laid out in the [Sailors section](broken://pages/s5ZUDGVR7JuVe6mav053), such as Claiming ETH proceeds, voting on proposals, etc.
